PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) is an industry engaged in aerospace, with the product of aircrafts, helicopters, spare parts, services and design engineering. PTDI's business scope covers the domestic and overseas territories. To achieve the vision and mission of the company, one of the steps taken by PTDI management is to make PTDI become a Bonded Zone.

As a Bonded Zone, at the time of entry and exit of goods must follow the rules set by the Customs. The process of material handed over to customers today, requires such a long time which resulting in delay of material accepted by the customer. For the delay, PTDI is charged an amount of penalty. The average of penalty paid by PTDI from 2015 – 2017 was USD 44,156.66 per year.
Author using a Research Method by having a direct interview with the people that responsible for materials delivery process and primary data collection. Conceptual framework is if improvisation process and teamwork spirit getting higher, it will reduce the duration of material delivery process. To determine the root of the problem, the author using the Current Reality Tree (CRT) method. The main problem of the old materials delivery process is because they were still using Manual System to retrieve Document BC 23 as the mandatory papers to bring goods out from bonded area. BC 23 document is customs notices for the release of goods import from the Customs Area to be stockpiled in a bonded stockpile. BC 23 document contains are B/L or AWB, invoice and packing list.

Alternative solutions of solving the problems are Alternative 1, Need to build a teamwork that cosisting of several sections involved in delivery materials process. Alternative 2, Improvements on delivery materials process with creating the BC 23 document Electronical Searching System. Alternative 3, the combination of Alternatives 1 and 2 to makes the accomplishment thoroughly done. The best solution for solving the problems is Alternative 3.

Implementation of this solution is planned to start on early April 2018 up to the end of 2018. After the implementation, the performance on business process of goods delivery will be monitored and evaluated. It is expected that the losses caused by delay of goods delivery can be minimized and the company optimistically will save up to USD 32. 362 .00 per year.
