One of characteristic mathematics is have abstract subject. Most of content consisting of numbers, it is important to do some effort so mathematics not only about numbers, need some approach that can use to change abstract to real life. Learning mathematics have to enable students to real life, concept of content must be applicable in daily life, so need mathematics realistic learning. There are six principle in mathematics realistic education which are activity, reality, level, intertwine, interaction, and guidance principle. According to this approach, mathematical textbook for grade 9 semester1 preserved using illustration, picture, and problems in daily life (realistic). The systematic of preserved material also has important role, in this book, content starting with phenomena in daily life in form picture that can attract student, then there are aspect spiritual and character. This book supplemented by activity that can help student to find concept by their selves. Conceptual understanding that students have can test by problem retention but different in content, like project or other exercise. Hopefully whit this book which is using realistic mathematic education can arise positive attitude students toward mathematics.<p align="justify"> text
