Description
Summary:
Music Concert Hall in Gedebage is planned to be built at the commercial area of Summarecon Bandung in Gedebage, Bandung to facilitate musical activities in Bandung as well as being one of Indonesian music icon. Therefore, it is necessary to design adequate parking lot to accommodate visitors who ride vehicle to the concert hall. The first step to design parking lot is to determine the demand of parking space with several methods, such as literature study and survey of vehicle proportion and occupancy at concert hall. Afterwards, the parking lots could be designed by taking parking demand, cost, and land availability into consideration.

In addition, the pavement structure of access road and parking lot should be designed to accommodate. The design of pavement structure is based on traffic load of the passing vehicles during service time. Flexible pavement is planned to be built on access road to concert hall and parking lot.

Local area traffic management at Summarecon Bandung is a necessary method to do in order to minimize the queue of vehicles at peak hour or at time right after the concert. Traffic management in Summarecon Bandung is planned to be done by turning and dividing traffic flow from concert hall through several intersections which connect Summarecon Bandung and Gedebage Road. Traffic management will be analyzed by single channel queuing method and capacity analysis of unsignalized intersection. From the analysis, it can be concluded that dividing traffic from concert hall through two intersections at least is sufficient to minimize vehicle queue at peak hour.
