However, along with its growth, does not necessarily make this type of business apart from some obstacles encountered.One of the efforts to minimize the risk in poultry is by the existence of partnership institutions. In collaboration, the company facilitates small farmers with venture capital, technology, proper management, and marketing certainty of production. While the small farmers do the production process following technical guidance from the partnership company. The benefit of this partnership pattern is to minimize the risk and also increase income with guarantees guidance and training by the core company. However, in fact, not all plasma farms who partner with PT.XYZ get that benefits.According to Dedi Ismawadi's interpretation, Production Head PT.XYZ, not all plasma farms who partner with PT.XYZ obtain maximum production benefits. This is due to the various production performance of plasma farms which caused by the low performance of the farm workers. <br /> <br /> <br /> Knowledge management is a tool that can be used to improve employee performance in organizations (Chong et al., 2011).The existing knowledge management between PT. XYZ with plasma farms has not run well, where tacit knowledge is only owned by certain farms and explicit knowledge in the form of documents stored with unstructured and separated. The uneven sharing of knowledge from PT.XYZ to all plasma farms also resulted in inequality of knowledge among plasma farms, so that the performance of workers in plasma farms is different. With the existence of knowledge management, enabling the way work and process is always evaluated, so that companies can work more intelligent in utilizing all the resources that exist from time to time. <br /> <br /> <br /> In this final project, author use Implementation of Knowledge Management by Garfield(2017) as the solution for those business issues. He provided a step-by-step guide to Implement KM which are identify the top 3 objectives, provide 9 answers, define KM strategy, obtain Leader’s 10 commitments, the last is create and execute the implementation plan. <br /> text |
