| Summary: | Sultan Thaha Airport is a air transportation infrastructure in Jambi City. This airport has been built since colonial era as Paalmerah Airfield, later on 10th October 1978 the name change to Sultan Thaha Airport. To meet the needs of all interested parties especially passanger, this artport service capacity has been improved for many times. Continuous increment of demand, made it necessary to improved service capacity of this airport significantly. To overcome this problem, a new terminal with range 500 meter to the east from old terminal will be created. In this final project will be designed the new terminal. The new terminal is designed to have 2 stories with total height about 22 meters. This structure composed of steel for beam and roof, also concrete for slab. Other than those two materials, also will be used composite material for column with encased composite column type. This structure is design base on SNI 1726-2012, SNI 1727-2013, SNI 1729-2015, and SNI 2847-2013 also will be design as Special Moment Frame (SMF). Using Software SAP2000 v.19 and SAFE, will be designed and analyzed the upper structure of new Terminal Sultan Thaha Airport. |
