Description
Summary:Along with the development of urban areas both by attraction and seizure because of the movement of human activities in it has an impact on the increasing need for access to activity centers and other urban facilities. However, the increase in the use of private transportation modes that are most commonly used in reaching access within the city raises various transportation and urban problems. The use of public transportation is believed to reduce the impact of increased use of private vehicles. The availability of public transportation participates in supporting the level of mobility of the Yogyakarta Urban Area through the Transjogja Bus transit system. However, the use of Transjogja Bus is sometimes less effective in serving the movement of users so that it can affect travel efficiency. Therefore, a performance analysis study on Transjogja Bus is needed based on its service characteristics, especially in corridors 3A and 3B as the main corridor of the Transjogja Bus. The analytical method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive statistical analysis method to explain the level of service of Transjogja Corridor 3A and 3B Buses based on their service characteristics (load factor, travel time and intermediate time) and land use analysis method to explain the characteristics of location zones for stop or transit Transjogja Corridor 3A and 3B Buses. The results of the analysis that have been carried out show that the service level of Transjogja Bus Corridor 3A and 3B is based on the loading factor included in the less productive category. Based on the time between, the Corridor 3A Transjogja Bus service is in accordance with the provisions and 3B is not yet suitable. Meanwhile, based on land use it is known that land use that has the highest value of attraction and generation is the public service zone.

Keywords: Transjogja Bus, service level, transit service
