Description
Summary:
Intensive application usage demands application developers to produce convenient applications to use without compromising functionalities. User experience (UX) plays an important role in response to this need because it covers all aspects of the expected experience of the system. Jojo Personal Finance, personal financial management application made by PT Jojo Nomic Indonesia is intended for everyday use. Therefore, it needs to develop the application’s user experience. The HEART framework provides a way to evaluate the application’s user experience and see the impact of improvements to the application. This final project evaluates the current user experience of Jojo Personal Finance, discovers various usability issues, and fixes them in the form of prototypes. Used HEART metrics are happiness, measured through System Usability Scale (SUS), and task success, measured through average task time and success rate. The tests are conducted three times with five respondents per test. Initial test result shows a SUS value below average with various problems raised by users. The base value of average task time and success rate are obtained. Solutions are proposed and created into a prototype. Second test is performed to see any changes to SUS value and average task time, as well as to find the remaining problem. Refinements are made to ensure all user experience issues have been resolved and the third test was performed. The final result shows all user experience problems have been resolved, shown by the SUS value now above average and the shortened average task time.
