Summary:Experiments for measuring coefficient of static friction have been performed using cylinder and block on the inclined plane. The experimental results show that the measurement of the static friction coefficient with the cylinder on the inclined plane is not an easy method, whereas the measurement of the static friction coefficient with the block on the inclined plane is easier. The average coefficient of static friction mica obtained using the block on the inclined plane is 0,35 for small block and 0,39 for large block. The results obtained from the experiments are used as a reference to create teacher module and student module which contain how to make props, how to derive equations, and how to analyze data.
