RDMP in Pertamina Cilacap aims to increase crude oil processing capacity from 348,000 barrels per day to 400,000 barrels per day. Pertamina Cilacap development is implemented by upgrading existing units and build new units on 160.50 Ha new development area. The construction of new units causing changes to spatial pattern and structure. Due to the condition of Cilacap Regency which is prone to earthquake, disaster can trigger the secondary hazard at Pertamina oil refinery such as fire, explosion and release of harmful substances to the environment caused by leakage. Under these conditions, the earthquake potential should be considered in spatial and disaster mitigation planning in Cilacap. This study aims to assessing risks of potential earthquakes in RDMP project to formulates recommendations for integrating natech disaster into spatial plan policy. <br /> <br /> <br /> Earthquake risk assessment was performed by web-based application: RAPID-N using earthquake historical data (Pangandaran 7.7 Mw earthquake) and maximum potential earthquake scenario that could occur in Cilacap (8.3 Mw). The results showed that the risk of natech based on earthquake potential in Pertamina Cilacap RDMP area is relatively small. However, the possibility is still there so that disaster mitigation efforts should be continued including anticipation of megatrust earthquake worst case scenario (8.3 Mw). With the special condition of Cilacap Regency as a disaster-prone industrial area, spatial regulations need to consider natech in spatial analysis. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> text |
