Summary: | <p align="justify"> The purposes of this research are to make 3D model of Laboratorium Pengujian Doping Institute Technology of Bandung (ITB) by using Mobile Mapping System (MMS) TOPCON IP-S3 HD1 and comparison with 3D model from Terrestrial Laser Scanner (TLS) to know quality of 3D Model. MMS is a vehicular based imaging and Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) data capturing system that also integrates with inertial sensors such as Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and wheel encoder. <br />

TOPCON IP-S3 HD1 has several steps to create 3D model from point clouds data. First data acquisition by using Mobile Master Field (MMF) software to generate raw data such as vehicle positions trajectory, point clouds and panoramic image. The second steps are data processing by using Mobile Master Office (MMO) software such as trajectory estimation, generation of panoramic image and generation of point clouds. Point clouds data from MMO are used to create 3D model. First point clouds must be segmented to separate desirable point clouds and combined with point cloud from UAV. Then create 3D model by meshing point cloud data using Poisson Surface Reconstruction method with CloudCompare, hole filling and mesh editing the 3D model to improve the appearance of that model using Geomagic. <br />

The accuracy of the model can be known through the RMSE value by comparing the size of several objects by the results of the 3D model from MMS measurement and TLS measurement. RMSE value represents differences between object size from MMS and TLS. From the calculation obtained the RMSE value is 8 cm that means MMS can be used for 3D modeling Laboratorium Pengujian Doping with the quality of the resulting object size is different only 8 cm with TLS. <p align="justify"> <br />
