there are many regulations that must be fulfilled. In order to manage the risks in the <br /> <br /> pharmaceutical companies, it is mandatory that the company must have a risk management <br /> <br /> framework. By having the risk management framework, the company is able to identify and <br /> <br /> elaborate all the associated risks with its activities. the risk management framework will also <br /> <br /> raise the level of risk awareness in the company. <br /> <br /> PT Harsen is one of the pharmaceutical companies that is located in Jakarta. It produces both <br /> <br /> hormonal and non-hormonal medicines and has sold their products to all regions in Indonesia <br /> <br /> and internationally. Regardless, all of the development that the company has, PT Harsen still <br /> <br /> does not have a risk management framework that can depicts all of the risk in each of their <br /> <br /> business activity intergratedly. There were may cases that involved PT Harsen, for instance, <br /> <br /> the case of product recall, the rejection of letter of distribution, and work safety. Those cases <br /> <br /> drive PT Harsen to improve their risk management. <br /> <br /> Taking all the arguments into account, PT Harsen needs to have a risk management that can <br /> <br /> portray all of the corporate risks that can happen within the company. Currently, PT Harsen <br /> <br /> only has risk management for the product quality and not intergrated with all risks that can <br /> <br /> occur in the company. The risk management framework that is proposed in this research is <br /> <br /> Hybrid Risk Management (HRM), designed by Ting, Kwok & Tsang in 2009. HRM combines <br /> <br /> three different risk management methodologies, which are Hierarchical Holographic Model <br /> <br /> (HHM), Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), also Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and <br /> <br /> Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP). <br /> <br /> Result of the risk identification shows that PT Harsen has 14 risk topics, 37 risk subtopics, and <br /> <br /> 57 risk scenarios. Those risks that has been identified is being assessed, and risk responses are <br /> <br /> proposed. From those proposed risk responses, Business Continutiy Plan and Disaster <br /> <br /> Recovery Plan are formulated to deal with those risks.
