Summary: | <p align="justify"> Multi-stories building started to pack major cities in Indonesia as the development of construction technology sector. This development certainly will increase the amount of buildings which apply dual system (interaction of shearwall dan frame for resisting lateral loads) as the lateral force resisting system. The design process of the buildings usually utilize strucutral analysis softwares because buildings are too complex to be calculate using conventional methods (hand calculation). <br />

In this research, the author compares the result of modelling shearwall-frame interaction using strucutral analysis software and manual calculation in order to verified the strucutral analysis software. This research compares the deformation and internal forces of two above methods, in which consists model of free standing wall, interaction of shearwall-frame in 2 dimension, and interaction of shearwall-frame in 3 dimension with each case consist of 4 stories model and 10 stories model. The 4 stories model represents wall with shear dominant behaviour and the 10 stories model represents wall with flexural dominant behaviour. <br />
