Description
Summary:
Pasir Kopo dam with its 172,11 km2 watershed area is a dam in Lebak Regency, Banten. One of Pasir Kopo dam main component is the spillway, which serves to spill excess water so it will not exceed the design that could potentially damage the dam. The spillway is 707,13 m long from flow guide channel to stilling basin. Each dam has the potential break of the dam (dam break) that is caused by earthquake or another incdent that can cause dam break. Therefore, we need the treatment to rescue the life and property can be done as much as possible. Flood hydrograph modelling caused by dam break is modeled with HEC-HMS by using the most extreme scenario of the break, that is overtopping by time of the break is 0,5 hour which can produce the maksimum discharge of 101.630,10 m3/s. Flood inundation map modelling is modeled with HEC-RAS whih can produce 194,10 km2 inundation area. The, the inundation map is used to determine hazard zone on the flood inundation area and to construct the emergency ation plan in the form of evacuation map.
