The observation data calculated to get potensial temperature data. It will be used to identify the UHI phenomenon by using surface temperature where the elevation effect could be ignored. UHI identification is based on typical characteristic of UHI phenomenon. The distinctive characteristics such as their diurnal pattern of surface temperature anomaly on the elapsed areas surrounding urban area at sunset until sunrise. The result of this research show that Bandung experienced UHI phenomenon which has a peak at 07.00 UTC. This research also prove the ability of the designed observation system to identify UHI phenomenon in Bandung and surrounding area.<p align="justify"> text
