The main problem is due to farmers' dependency on climate to cultivate the crops. Food computer is one of the solution that could solve the climate dependency problem. Food computer is a device that can control the climate in closed room for farming in the urban city. This device's hardware consists of sensor, mikrocontroller, regulator, mosfet, and actuator. This device will get set-point value from user's adnroid application. Tis set-point will be compared with the actual climate condidion that read by sensor. Sensor will read the temperature, humidity, caorbondioxide, and light intensity values from the plant chamber and also pH, electrical conductivity, and water temperature from the nutrition tank. After that, climate values will be compared with set-point inside the arduino microcontroller. When the actual climate condition is not the same with set-point value, microcontroller will send a command to turn on and contol the appropriate actuator immediately until the actual climate condition similar with set-point. Besides, illumination duration to the plant and watering time to the root zone will also be controlled using time interrupt. <br /> <p align="justify"> text |
