Description
Summary:As drug abuse becomes increasingly widespread in Indonesia, it encourages the government to provide facilities that are expected to reduce drug abuse in the future, by organizing rehabilitation programs. The number of drug abuse that occurs can be predicted by making a mathematical model of the number of drug users. In this final assignment, the population is grouped into six, groups of susceptible individuals, groups of light users, groups of heavy users, groups of rehabilitated individuals, groups of susceptible individuals after rehabilitation, and groups of individuals who have stopped using drugs. The mathematical model is analyzed by looking at it’s stability. The analysis of mathematical model obtained two types of equilibrium points. Rehabilitation programs that are organized by the government have an effect on drug abuse in Indonesia, resulting in reduction of the number of drug users. Based on the simulation, it is found that by rehabilitating heavy users, the number of heavy users is reduced so that the number of light users is also reduced.
