Apart from the domestic sector, Cilamaya River also receives input from industrial waste and agriculture. Given these activities, degraded water quality can be worse. The purpose of this study was to determine the carrying capacity of the Cilamaya River segments which are determined based on the industrial wastewater effluent that drained into the river as the basis on potential efforts to reduce water pollution Cilamaya River. The results of the water quality status determination by the method of STORET, Water Pollution Index (WPI), and the Canadian Water Quality Index (CWQI) showed that the Cilamaya River water quality conditions in 2008 to 2011 in the position of moderate to heavily polluted. Based on monitoring data, the parameters of the main pollutants are phenols, sulfide, BOD, COD, total phosphorus, fecal coliforms and total coliforms. The results of modeling with the Streeter-Phelps showed at a distance of 1.389 km from the point of mixing between the upstream conditions with waste PT. Papertech DO values showed the 7.6 mg / l. Of dissolved oxygen curve at distances up to 10 to ± 18 km from the point of initial mixing or the distance between the PT. Sanfu up before PT. ABB. Due to the input of waste from PT. ABB and PT. DO BMP river water down to 0 mg / l or experiencing aseptic conditions. Efforts are recommended for the management of river water quality monitoring cilamaya is the industry WWTP removal efficiency of organic load, monitoring of drainage or sewage into water bodies, and purification of river water quality by aeration and wetland.<p align="justify"> text
