This low percentage indicates the presence of gap on entrepreneurship education between students’ and university perspective. This study aims to: (1) understand the factors that discourage entrepreneurship students not to be self-employed after graduation, (2) have the holistic understanding about entrepreneurship program from students’ point of view, (3) identify the gap between students’ and educator’s perspective about entrepreneurship program. The methodology in this study is using qualitative method by conducting interviews and FGD. This study found that economic factors, financial risk, and personal development deter the students to choose entrepreneurial as career. The students understand entrepreneurship education needs to provide a high intensity of knowledge relevance and application, real business experience, practitioner involvement, individual-level and business development support. This study also found that there are significant gap on knowledge relevance and application that, according to the students, not yet fulfilled by SBM ITB Jakarta Campus. Based on the findings, this research suggest SBM ITB Jakarta Campus to implement entrepreneurship-focus internship program and formal entrepreneurship training for facilitator to strengthen entrepreneurship program offered, in order to increase the percentage of self-employed graduates. text
