Summary:<p align="justify"> UPT Perpustakaan ITB is one of supporting unit for academic learning activities in ITB. It provides manykind of information which can support the achievement of ITB to be a world class university. To support ITB goals, UPT Perpustakaan ITB builds a vision that aligns it, it is to be international standard library. Service Department is a division that has a vital role to the organization, since Service Department is in direct contact with the library's customers. However, based on the existing condition, there are still problems faced by the Service Department, some of which are processed by habit, lack of SOP, and lack of human resources. These problems represents that organizational performance is not optimal yet. To solve the problems faced by Service Department, it is necessary to improve business process management by evaluating the maturity of business process management, given the business process management, not only improve performance at a time but continuously. The maturity model used in this research is Business Process Management Maturity Model (BPMMM). This model is considered as appropriate model because it has been tested through pilot testing in public sector organizations. BPMMM also relies on maturity assessment of two aspects: coverage and proficiency that support the model becomes more comprehensive. This study will be assess maturity management business process expectations and existing in Service Department, then gap existence will be identified. Based on the gap, will be analyzed the root of the problem and the order of failure modes based on risk by using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method, while to make priority of improvement will use Pareto Analysis. At the end of the study, a recommendation for improvement will be made to improve the maturity of the business process management of Service Department UPT Perpustakaan ITB, which will be presented in the project charter.<p align="justify">
