Summary:Advertising is one of the most effective marketing strategies to advertise their product <br /> <br /> that aims to offer and increase the purchase amount of the product. Total television and <br /> <br /> print media ad expenditures grew by 24% compared to the same period last year (the first <br /> <br /> quarter of 2015). The number shows the highest quarterly growth in the past two years, <br /> <br /> according to Nielsen Advertising Information Service data. Established in 1992, PT. <br /> <br /> Tayang Visi Aplikasi Digital (TVAD) is an agency company that provides advertising <br /> <br /> services through the concept of advertising ‘above the line and below the line’ in Bandung <br /> <br /> which had successfully helped several companies in Indonesia. PT. TVAD had <br /> <br /> decreasing and had a small of money in terms of gross profit due 2013 to 2017 and slowly <br /> <br /> rise up from 2014 to 2016, but then has had some decrement in 2017, compared to others <br /> <br /> company. This research focuses on finding the alternative improvement strategies for <br /> <br /> PT.TVAD’s performance to increase the profit also the value of the company. <br /> <br /> This research consist of financial performance analysis to analyze the factors that affect <br /> <br /> the financial current condition, external analysis consist of societal analysis use PESTEL <br /> <br /> analysis to find opportunities and threats of the company, internal analysis consist of <br /> <br /> corporate structure, culture, resource to find strength and weaknesses of the company, so <br /> <br /> that the author can suggest the new strategy determination by TOWS method and analyze <br /> <br /> the valuation before and after improvement. Discounted Cash Flow would be calculate to <br /> <br /> make a valuation of the company. <br /> <br /> The result of valuation was using prescribed assumption and three scenarios, the <br /> <br /> additional value after doing the improvement are IDR 292,630,524 from pessimist <br /> <br /> scenario, IDR 770,622,064 from most likely scenario, IDR 1,462,976,629 from optimist <br /> <br /> scenario. This research recommends to build new team/division to provide new service <br /> <br /> in terms to resolve the decrement profit and will make the value increasing. The <br /> <br /> conclusion and recommendation are conducted from business strategy and finance <br /> <br /> strategy point of view.
