Summary: | <p align="justify">Drainage planning in an area should be based on calculations and analysis that follow standards followed in the area. The design should be able to accommodate the entire rainwater runoff that passes through the area. The drainage system planned for this undergraduate thesis is the surface drainage needed to accommodate and drain rainwater for Purabaya Bus Terminal, which has an area of 10.8 hectares. Purabaya Bus Terminal is a class A terminal that has became the main terminal supporting movement in and between cities with bus transportation modes in Surabaya and is given the title as the busiest terminal in Indonesia. Problems that can arise if the drainage system is not well planned will certainly disrupt terminal operations and harm various parties. The reference standards and regulations used to design the drainage system of Purabaya Bus Terminal are the Indonesian National Standard Number 2415, 2016 on the Procedures for the Calculating Flood Flow as well as the Guidelines for the Procedure of Master Plan of Urban Drainage System of the Ministry of Public Works of the Directorate General of Human Settlements. With designs used according to a 5 year return period and analysis done manually resulting in three drainage dimension plan, which are type I 0,4 mx 0,4 m, type II 0,5 mx 0.5 m, and type III 0.6 mx 0.5 m using U-ditch concrete precast. The selection of material types and dimensions is limited to three types to is done to simplify the construction process.<p align="justify"> |
