Fishermen need compatible and ergonomic communication media in order to stay in touch with shahbandar on land, both to report the catch and the position of the ship. Radio communication system that has a long wavelength propagation is very suitable to overcome the communication needs of the fishermen. <br /> <br /> In this final project, radio communication system for fishermen has been designed using the High Frequency spectrum. The design starts from the oscillator, RF and IF power amplifiers, Single and Double Balanced Modulator until the filter. <br /> <br /> HF signal is obtained through Single Side Band modulation process. There are two modulation processes on the radio system. The first modulation is a voice signal modulation with a frequency range of 300-3400 Hz with 10000000 Hz oscillator carrier frequeny. Resulting an intermediate signal at a frequency of 99966009999700 Hz (Lower Side Band). The second modulation uses the frequency from Variable Frequency Oscillator. To get RF signal at 8222000-8746000 Hz in Upper Side Band mode, the frequency of VFO is generated at 18222000-18746000Hz frequency range The final power output signal without power amplifier is about 50100 mWatt, while with power amplifier up to 100 Watt. <p align="justify"> text
