Summary: | Municipal Recycling Facility (TPS 3R) is a specialized plant that collects, separates, reuses, and recycling in a region scale.The implementation of TPS 3R in Indonesia held by community based method. Community-based waste management of settlements requires the participation of the community especially in the utilization of development results so that the community can maintain and extend the useful life of a built waste treatment facility. This study aims to determine the aspects that are considered to have an effect on the community participation in the utilization of TPS 3R such as attitude, knowledge, perception, availability of facilities, trust, willingness and hope in Bogor City, using path analysis. The data was collected through questionnaires to 287 respondents in Kertamaya and Sukadamai region. The result of path analysis through simultaneous test describes that the seventh variables gives 44,5% effects, while the partially test indicates there are four variables that have significant influence on community participation which is knowledge, availability of facilities, trust, and willingness. In Kertamaya region the variable of willingness gives the biggest influence that is 16,06%, whereas in Sukadamai region the biggest influence is given by knowledge variable 24,33%. The test results through cluster analysis grouped the respondents into two groups: respondents with high participation and respondent with low participation. Discriminant analysis results show that the most significant aspects on community participation were attitude, and then availability of facility. |
