Summary: | Over the past few years the growth of the tourism sector in Bandung Regency has tended to decline. The impact of this sector on the condition of the sustainability of resources and the welfare of local communities is also an aspect that must be given special attention. This is a qualitative research, utilizing Porter Five Forces and PESTLE to analyze the external environment and utilize analysis of Based Resources for the internal environment. Both analyzes were compiled into SWOT and extracted the root cause using fish bones. The root cause of the problem is a tourism destination management system that does not include the participation of local communities and the absence of a business partnership pattern established in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. To eliminate problems, a development strategy is needed to improve the destination management system, increase participation and ultimately increase tourist arrivals. CBT provides business actions that are able to overcome the problems faced by KBS, one of which is to formulate a paradigm and policy direction based on partnership and participation to increase awareness and exploitation of relationships with suppliers. The output of this study is a proposed solution for companies that involve the community to participate in the development of T & T while improving the destination management system by giving full management to the community. The expected result of this study is that the CBT strategy will help companies to realize sustainable tourism in KBS. |
