Sukarno switched function into a public space. The road segment was closed for vehicular traffic and switched into public open space. Therefore, this study aims to determine the implication of switching Jalan Ir. Sukarno into public space based on current performance of roads and unsignalized intersections around it. In addition, the evaluation of pedestrian facilities around Jalan Ir. Sukarno is also carried out. <br /> <br /> Performance evaluation of roads is determined based on traveling speed parameter, while the performance evaluation of intersection is based on degree of saturation, delays and queues opportunities. Evaluation of pedestrian facilities is conducted based on the width of sidewalks and availability of pedestrian facilities. <br /> <br /> Based on analysis result, performance at peak traffic conditions are as follows, the degree of saturation Asia Afrika - Cikapundung Barat intersection is 0.813, delay is 13.15 seconds/smp and queue opportunities 27% - 53%, the degree of saturation Cikapundung Barat - ABC - Naripan intersection is 1.287, delay is 97.01 seconds/smp and queue opportunities 68% - 100%, and the degree of saturation Naripan - Braga intersection of 0.488, delay is 8.47 seconds/smp and queue opportunities 11% - 24%. Roads and intersection performance improvement are proposed through prohibition of parking on the road, opening of Jalan Ir. Sukarno on weekdays and constructing traffic signals at Cikapundung Barat - ABC - Naripan intersection. Based on the evaluation of pedestrian facilities, sidewalks around Jalan Ir. Sukarno are quite good, they have been equipped with guiding blocks, chairs and street lamps. Improvement of pedestrian facilities is proposed through removal of street vendors from St. Cikapundung Barat sidewalk and pelican cross and zebra cross construction. <p align="justify"> text
