In construction world, water can be the source of problems if it does not get anticipated from the beginning, such as puddle or even flood. Flood in construction or building area is certainly detrimental to both the functional and aesthetical aspect of the building, especially for Museum of Contemporary Art Bandung which is a public place and built for aesthetics interests. Therefore, it is necessary to have planning in the field of water to anticipate any problems that may occur. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The planning of building in the field of water mentioned above is the drainage system planning of Museum of Contemporary Art Bandung area which includes the planning of drainage network system, channel dimension, and detention basin with its spillway building. The planning starts from the collecting and processing of <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> rainfall data on the building area into runoff discharge according to the drainage network sysem made which then used in channel dimension design. The channel flow discharge then used in the planning of detention basin with spillway and water gate.
