Summary:In this globalization and modern era, organizations are faced with new challenge in the form of diverse workforce. It is an increasingly important phenomenon that needs further better understanding. The same condition are also faced by Facilities and Town Management department – Highland division, PT Freeport Indonesia. Each employee comes from different ethnic and cultural background, thus carrying different value and communication style with them. This research aims to analyze and find the dominant communication style of particular ethnic group through assessment via the employee, and from there researcher would like to find the way they perceive their own ethnic group and their colleague’s ethnic group from their communication style. Using a quantitative method to gather data, researcher used questionnaire survey and statistical analysis to attain the data of employee’s communication style. The outcome of this research is the data of dominant communication style of each ethnic group, and suggestion on how to manage diversity for Facilities and Town Management department PT Freeport Indonesia
