Description
Summary:PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia is one of the oil and gas companies that concentrates on exploration and production. PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia has produced more than 12 billion barrels of oil. The greater the exploitation and production activities, the greater the chance of environmental pollution due to exploration and production activities. Pollution that often occurs in oil and gas industry is soil contamination. Soil contamination due to petroleum is an environmental problem that must be overcome. Bioremediation is an alternative in the processing of polluted soil from petroleum. Bioremediation is a method of improving soil quality by utilizing microbial help that can make pollutants a source of carbon or their food sources. In laboratory test, the most optimum dose and fertilizer variation in degradation of TPH is variation of Urea and TSP fertilizer with C: N: P ratio of 100: 7.5: 1. This variation can reduce 2.2788% weight within 72 days. Through the assessment process, landfarming is chosen as the technology that best suits the condition of PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia based on financial aspects, ease of operation and maintenance, reliability, and availability. The design process includes determining the dimensions and completeness of Treatment cell, Pre-treatment, equipment decontamination, leachate management system, monitoring system, SOP, and cost analysis with respect to applicable design criteria and regulations
