The oil and gas reserve and resource is one of the asset describing of the nations natural resources. This asset conception is always evaluated annually through the reserve and resource report. Indonesia as the one of the oil and gas producer, this kind of report is routinly reported to SKK Migas and Dirjen Migas. The purpose of this report is to know at which classification and category of the reserve and resource so it can be determined on how we strategize in the future. PRMS is the new methodology that currently used by international oil operator to classifu and categoize for the reserve and resource. PRMS is using a project as the approach base i.e an approach that considering technical and commercial aspec from the oil and gas reported resource. Base on this classification of the project so then the mature of the project itself need to be evaluated. The maturity level of the project in PRMS shown at vertical axle from Project Maturity sub-class where a project is move forward to the maturity then there is chance to change an accummulation to the commerciality. However, base on the curren. PRMS condition which still can not implemented nationally due to massive declining of the oil and gas reserve.
The purpose of this research is to illustrate that PRMS can maximize the reserve gain through some projects at certain reservoir. The estimation of the reserve value from a project wiit be analyzed using Monte Carlo simulation to determine the value of low (P90), best (P50) and high (P10).
The methodology in this thesis consist of several step from the field deterrnination candidate, collection and data mapping, reserve data inventory, project identification and reserve movement, reserye evaluation and analysis and PRMS project based, determination of estimation to reserve addition with Monte Carlo simulation, discussion and conclussion.
Reservoir 'oX" at South Sumatra is an example for the case which it use in the application of the PRMS to maximize the reserve. In the early of 2009 production history has a massive production deciling in reservoir "X" tp to 60Yo per year. This decline level has been indicated as signif, rcant pressure loss in the reservoir up to 300 psi that could be caused by the limitation of aquifer supply to reservoir and depleted gas cap. Base on that condition, one of the ways that we can recondition back the performance of reservoir "X" is using the project base approach. Several projects has been successfully implemented at reservoir "X" is pressure maintenance, workover, low pressure modification on production system, well reactivation and advance stimulation (HiWAY Fracturing). Those projects have shown the better reserve movement and proven to add the reserve value at reservoir ooX" as 7.3 MMBO until economic limit. This result also had been evaluated and analyzed using Monte Carlo simulation and giving result close to the actual condition.

At the end, PRMS as a guideline for reserve classification and categoization in the oil industry not always giving bad effect from a reserve value, otherwise it will be giving a good value if supported by projects application which proper with reservoir condition.
