Emission is emitted as the result of combustion process, and one of the pollutants is particulate matters. However, particulate matters concentration in general is 8,000-12,000 mg/m3 (Chang and Lee, 1991 in Boshoff and WH, 1999) while the Regulation of Environment Ministry of Indonesia number 07 year 2007 is 250 mg/m3. Therefore, a better air pollution control system is needed. The system designed for this project is high efficiency cyclone system featured with duct and dust storage. Based on the calculation result, the size of the cyclone is 10.29 meters tall and 2.57 meters wide. Dust storage is 0.8 meter wide and 1.25 meters high; it’s able to store the removed particulate matters for 8 hours. The high efficiency cyclone system is expected to do 86,07% particulate matters removal. text
