Based on the best fitted equivalent circuit model, it is found that the galvanized rebar actively corrode in SPS solution containing free of inhibitor. Solid corrosion product is likely to form on the surface of the rebar. <br /> <br /> Passivation behaviour revealed during 30 to 120 days of immersion indicates that all of the steel surface has been exposed to the SPS and the steel has been in passive state. In contrast the interface behaviour of the galvanized rebars immersed into the SPS containing 60 gpi Ca(N02)2 exhibites that the passivation has occured on the surface of galvanized layer. The efficiency of the 60 gpl of inhibitor is varied from 93,42% to 99,99%. <br /> <br /> Passivation behaviour is also exhibited by galvanized layer immersed in SPS containing 30 ppm Na2Cr2O7. The inhibitor efficiency of this inhibitor may also reach 99,99%. <br /> <br /> The research comes into a conclusion that Na2Cr2O7 inhibitor is more effective from Ca(NO2)2 in inhibiting the galvanized rebars in the test solutions at least up to 120 m days of immersion. text
