Summary:The design of plumbing systems in apartment buildings on Jalan Soekarno-Hatta Bandung is sourced from fictitious projects from Nurul Ilmi’s final project (15212074). This apartment consists of three towers, where 1st tower is 16 floors, 2nd tower is 20 floors and 3rd tower is 26 floors. Clean water supply for this building on all towers relies on the supply of PDAM, aquifer wells and reuse water which are all stored in lower tanks of each tower and then pumped to the top tank of the tower and then distributed with a gravity flow system from the top to each plumbing tool. Based on the calculation, water requirement based on plumbing tool for apartment building for young families in tower 1,2 and 3 is 289 m3/day, 335 m3/day and 722 m3/day. The wastewater distribution in this building is designed using a separate system by gravity and then accommodated to be processed separately. For black water waste water will be treated with sludge treatment and septic tank, while gray water will be treated with detergan trap, grease trap and ozonation biofilter. The effluent from sludge tratment and 40% septic tank will be streamed to the city's riol channel and 60% will be channeled into the infiltration area of the apartment complex garden, for gray water will be treated together with rain water for the source of clean water. Rain water distribution in the building is planned not directly discharged into the city drainage but done rain water harvesting which will be used as a source of clean water on the ground floor along with gray water. The potential of reuse water from rain water harvesting and gray water treatment at each tower is 2.18 m3/day for 1st tower, 3.57 m3/day for 2nd tower and 5.94 m3/day for 3rd tower. From total water requirement of each tower will be accommodated with the water source from of PDAM that is 470 m3/day, aquifer water of 740 m3/day and reuse water of 135 m3/day.
