Summary: | <p align="justify"> School buildings are learning/teaching environment and they have influence on students’ wellbeing as well as performance. Schools are supposed to provide environment where students feel that they are comfortable and safe in all manners. For improving the learning efficiency, an intelligent classroom management system with context-awareness based on the wireless sensor network technology is proposed and implemented in this research. The statuses of the classroom is detected by wireless sensors, and these statuses will be transferred to the management system built in a server. The management system will determine the current conditions of the the classroom, and give proper feedbacks to the teachers, and the wireless sensor-controlled equipment deployed in the classroom. Monitoring and control of devices in a network have a lot of challenges because the process still require a lot of human work. There is still a mismatch system that implements many of the less precise protocols. Therefore, it is important to connect devices such as sensors and actuators to IoT-based devices. In order to support this, we have developed a comprehensive architecture that efficiently collects data from various sensors, sends data that support events, stores data in the database, and provides intuitive user data for data reception. The author performs the implementation of Arduino based sensor systems and costs, the event handling system for communication protocols using the AMQP and MQTT protocols by using queuing systems, managing databases using MySQL, and using REST API for web services. <p align="justify"> |
