Summary: | Geothermal well testing methods that will be discussed in this final task include measurement of PT Survey, back pressure test, and pressure build up test. Measurement of P & T Survey aims to determine changes in reservoir pressure and temperature. If there is a decrease in temperature or pressure indicates that there is a problem in the reservoir and need to production test or transient analysis to determine the cause so it can be known how to overcome the problem.
While back pressure testing is used to determine the deliverability of the wells. The value of deliverability describes the amount of vapor produced by a well to be transported to the turbine to drive the generator to produce electrical energy. Steam to be produced is the key to company revenue. The decrease in production value resulting from the production test is also an indication that a well has problems.
To find out the cause of the decline property of the well, can be done pressure build up test aims to determine the value of the transmissivityity, permeability, and skin factor of a well. These values can describe the condition of a reservoir and the cause of a decline in the production of a reservoir.
In the pressure build-up test for wells X-1 and X-2, compared to data based on the last two years, namely in 2016 and 2017. In the difference of one year, there is difference of value of transmissivity, permeability, skin factor, and pressure skin.
