Summary:Nangkaleah Landfill in Tasikmalaya District which began operating in 2015 still does not have good facilities. No leachate treatment plant made some problems such as contaminated rice fields around the landfill and contaminated with groundwater. Laboratory test results give the results of the parameters of BOD, COD, TSS, and total Nitrogen from leachate content exceeding the quality standard according to Indonesian Government Regulation number 59 of 2016 concerning effluent processing quality standards. A leachate treatment plant with the principle of biological processing uses anarobic pools, facultative ponds, ripening ponds, and wetlands need to be built in 2020 a compilation of landfill revitalization projects will be carried out by the local government. The calculation results estimate that BOD reduction can be achieved from 700 mg/L to 2 mg/L and COD from 14,000 mg/L to 24 mg/L. Regular supervision is very necessary to monitor biological leachate processing results which can sometimes fluctuate. a site listing leachate quality control data named SMODKA was made to facilitate recording of leachate effluent quality data generated. In addition, the need for a recirculation system to return leachate to landfills so that when quantity and quality fluctuations occur, the results of leachate treatment remain in accordance with the applicable quality standards
