Description
Summary:PDAM Tirta Pakuan is a drink water supply agency for service area of Bogor City. Currently, PDAM Tirta Pakuan has six service areas. Zone four is one of the PDAM service areas that consist of `North Bogor, Central Bogor, West Bogor, and Tanah Sareal Subdistrict. The redesign of clean water distribution system of Bogor City is done based on the result of existing condition evaluation and distribution network development. Currently, zone four has a source of raw water coming from the Cisadane river with potential capacity 4100 L/s. Then, raw water is to be processed in WTP Dekeng with production capacity 1400 L/s and idle capacity 1800 L/s. Zone Four has branch pattern in its distribution system and delivered by using gravity with daily-average demand of 800 L/s. By 2037, the daily – average demand of zone four reaches 1797.89 L/s thus the raw water can suffice the zone four’s water demand in 2037. Based on the evaluation result, 31 points with the pressure condition doesn’t comply the standard (10 – 85 m). Moreover, 35 pipes don’t comply the velocity standard (0.3 – 3 m/s) and 54 pipes don’t comply the headloss standard ( below 10 m/km). Moreover, there is a reservoir with volume capacity at 12,000 m3 cannot be able to serve zone four optimally. Therefore, reservoir development and pump addition need to be done to fix water distribution network issue. Alternatif solutions are planned with reservoir development in +310 m and +270 m with total capacity of 10.000 m3 in each location. Moreover, Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) addition in 8 locations to solve excess pressure in mid night and Pump addition with 20kW of power capacity to help peak hour demand.
