Summary: | Development of technology move faster. Companies are competing to do technology as an effort to increase the company's selling power. However, in its application, considerable information is needed because the application of plantations is not cheap. Failure to manage information technology and business alignment is the main reason that IT systems often fail. Something related to the organization can become more complex in the context of regulation, partnership, merger and development. One of the things that is often overlooked in architectural design is the failure to anticipate anxiety and increase the company's opportunities to achieve company goals. Risks and opportunities are important elements in designing enterprise architecture. Matters relating to business issues and business of the company. Today, not many people discuss this concept to describe the use of enterprise architecture in developing corporate architectural modeling languages.

In previous studies, the design of enterprise architecture only used existing frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman, but in recent times these two main frameworks still did not develop. In early 2012, The Open Group developed a framework for developing enterprise architecture called Archimate. Where archimate is a very open framework for development in accordance with the needs of the company. The archimate framework contains a highly developed element of motivation. Motivational elements that are developed include resource, compatibility, capability, assessment, value etc. Of all the developments carried out there has been no development of risks and opportunities as one of the aspects needed in the design of corporate architecture.

In this study, the addition of the concept of risks and opportunities to the corporate architecture. The addition of this concept was carried out by conducting an ontological analysis of these two concepts and carried out using the framework of Unified Foundational Ontology (UFO). This analysis will produce the development of risk and opportunity metamodel in one of the company's architectural modeling languages, namely Archimate. Archimate is a corporate architecture modeling language that is developed very flexible so that the company's architectural designers can add new concepts to enrich the concept
of the Archimate. Archimate advantage is the openness of the framework to be developed and able to adopt new concepts that are relevant to the times. In this study, the enterprise architecture model will be designed by comparing two real cases using the concept of risk and opportunity and the model without the addition of the concept of risk and opportunity so that it will be seen advantageous in using these two concepts in the design of enterprise architecture.

The results of this research are the metamodel scheme of archimate enterprise architecture modeling language with the addition of two new concepts namely risk and opportunity. The addition of risk concepts and opportunities is done by customizing the language set by the Archimate. In addition, the risk and opportunity notation model is also produced to complement the company's architectural design. This notation is used to model the risks and opportunities at each archimate layer including the business layer, application layer and technology layer. The use of relations between notations does not change and is implemented according to archimate rules. |
