Description
Summary:Amplification had been carried out on 0,5 kilo base pairs fragment DNA containing Y end of ce,}G gene from a wild type and S-2 mutant of Cephalosporium acremonium, obtained by the mutation of 254 urn ultraviolet radiation. Compared with the wild type, the mutant produced more cephalosporin C and showed faster differentiation of hyphae into arthrospore. The wild type and the mutant were amplified by Polymerase Chain Reactions, using CefF and CefR as primers. The nucleotide sequence determined directly by dideoxy Sanger method, resulted in 417 nucleotides reading of ce,1G gene. Comparison of nucleotide sequence of the wild type and S-2 mutant showed that the mutation did not occurred on the 417 nucleotides
