BP Log Group Company was first established in 1970 where there were only 3 trucks and in 2018 KPA had assets of 283 trucks from various types of small trucks (Colt Diesel Engkel - CDE, Colt Diesel Double - CDD) and also heavy truck type (Tronton or Fuso). PT. KPA has a garage with an area of 13,250 m2 located on Jalan Babek ABRI no.1, Cakung Timur, East Jakarta. <br />

PT. Kencana Pesaka Abadi tries to maintain customer service oriented. As the company grows and demands from customers are increasingly high, PT. Kencana Pesaka Abadi always prioritizes shipping to customers as a top priority. Since 2013 to June 2018 there were 266 cases of accidents and costs incurred as a result of this work accident amounting to IDR 1,138,343,416. Number of work accidents in the transportation service company PT. Kencana Pesaka Abadi is the business problem in this study. Factors and causes of high rates of workplace accidents at PT. Pesaka Abadi is caused by unsafe acts or unsafe conditions from the driver or the surrounding environment. The need for the implementation of a work safety management system with the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Action) method in transportation services is still not carried out consistently and continuously at the BP Log Group (PT. Kencana Pesaka Abadi). <br />

Accident happened needs to be carried out a thorough investigation by the investigation team so as to obtain root causes and ensure that the entire process in the transportation work safety management system needs to be monitored and continuous control. <br />

The implementation of the transportation work safety system plan program needs to be carried out on an ongoing basis with measurable performance measurement and competent personnel in QHSE, so that the zero target and costs of accident can be reduced. <br />
