Description
Summary:
The purpose of the research is to analyzing the structural capacity of flexible pavement based on Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) deflection data by using Bina Marga method 2013 and EVERSERIES program and comparing the result of overlay thickness from both methods.

Structural evaluation of flexible pavement with Bina Marga method 2013, in the early stages, an analysis of the selection of types of handling based on 3 triggers value, ie: Deflection Trigger, IRI Trigger, and Conditions Trigger, then proceed with the calculation of modulus by AASHTO method 1993 and the overlay thickness through the general mechanistic procedures (GMP) of CIRCLY program assistance. While in EVERSERIES program, FWD deflection data becomes input in EVERCALC program to calculate the stiffness modulus with backcalculation process which is then used in EVERPAVE program to determine the overlay based on the condition of existing pavement.

From result of analysis of method of Bina Marga 2013 with two layers of SewoLohbener segment require overlay thickness of 50 mm and from analysis result using EVERSERIES program with EVERPAVE program in obtaining overlay thickness ranged 70 mm to 130 mm. EVERSERIES program produces overlay thickness thicker than Bina Marga 2013 method because there are several different parameters such as deflection value, temperature by season variation and traffic loads.
