STANDARDIZATION OF KINDERGARTEN STUDENT’S SCHOOL UNIFORM

One of the needs of Kindergarten students are uniform. Uniforms of kindergarten students who belong to the category of children's clothing have special design <br /> <br /> <br /> characteristics to fit in the physiological and child activities. Aside from being a student identity, school uniforms have various functions, especially security functions. <br /> <br /> <br /> The absence of uniform designs specified specifically for kindergarten students is the background of this research. This study aims to identify the characteristics of school <br /> <br /> <br /> uniform design that is ideal and in accordance with the activity which can be a standard recommendation of kindergarten students uniform. This research uses <br /> <br /> <br /> qualitative approach with content analysis.The <br /> <br /> <br /> observations were conducted on 3 (three) kindergarten schools in Bandung to obtain activity data while wearing <br /> <br /> <br /> uniforms. Depth interviews were conducted to expert speakers in the area of early childhood and children's clothing to obtain data related to school uniform problems <br /> <br /> <br /> in accordance with expertise. In addition, the distribution of questionnaires was conducted to parents of students who were consumers of Kindergarten uniforms to obtain data on the design of school uniform design. The results presented in the form of tables, graphs, and designs recommended by researchers. The results show tha the design preferences of school uniforms based on the consumer mostly meet the design standards for the kindergarten uniforms and most of the respondents approved the application of compulsory school uniform rules. The results of this study can be a <br /> <br /> <br /> recommendation for the standard formulation of kindergarten uniforms in accordance with the activities of kindergarten students. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
