Therefore we need to find cleaning method for glass surface without direct contact. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> In this final project, superhidrofobic coating on glass surface has successfully been made by dropping epoxy solution, nanosilica solution, and immersing glass in stearic acid solution. In the experiment, optimization of contact angle, sliding angle and transparency of glass is done by varying concentration of epoxy solution, the amount of nanosilica coatings, concentration of stearic acid solution, duration and temperature immersion of glass in stearic acid solution. From experiment above superhydrophobic glass with contact angle 156o, sliding angle 7o and transparency 62% was obtained by dropping epoxy solution 1%, 5 layers of nanosilica coating and immersing in stearic acid solution 100 mM for 1 hour at room temperature. Superhydrophobic glass with parameters above still meet the standard for glass building.<p align="justify"> <br /> text |
