Summary: |
The design for the drainage system at Sultan Thaha Jambi Airport consists of several aspects. The design scope are drainage system, rainwater harvesting, zero delta drainage, and flood potential analysis. The drainage system designed using a rational method with a 10 year return period. Constructing an infrastructure impacts a closure of certain areas that prevent land absorption. This needs to be done by designing a drainage system that uses the concept of zero delta drainage. The application of zero delta drainage concept on Sultan Thaha Jambi Airport are detention pool and rainwater tank. The rainwater tank fuction to collect rain from the teminal roof which will then be processed with a water treatment plan and used for the water supply at the airport terminal. Flood potential analysis used to find out the impact of the runoff from Batanghari River to the site.
