To able to produce from this reservoir we need to apply some methods, those methods are using horizontal well, hydraulic fracturing, or fractured horizontal well. In this study multiple fractured horizontal well method will be used and the purpose of this study is to develop the inflow performance relationship (IPR) equation for this method. IPR need to be developed in order to know the performance of tight gas reservoir when using multiple fractured horizontal well. Generally, IPR equation is developed when the production is already reached the pseudo steady state period. But for tight gas reservoir, it took a long time to reached the pseudo steady state period that is about five to ten years. Because of that, it took a long time too to find the pseudo steady state IPR and due to that it will hinder the development of the tight gas field. Because of that, the purpose of this study is to develop an IPR equation that can be used even though the production time have not reached the pseudo steady state period that equation is an IPR equation for transient period. The development for this study will carried out through integrated model of reservoir system and its well by using software PETREL and ECLIPSE. The reservoir model that will be used took a shape of a cube to simplify the modeling. This model will be validated by comparing the IGIP and by using ECRIN software. After validating the reservoir model, an IPR equation will be developed and IPR equation that will be developed is a dimensionless IPR equation. The result of this study is a valid dimensionless IPR equation for multi fractured horizontal well in tight gas reservoir. text
