That is partitioned between the subduction and a continous zone of back-arc thrusting extending 2000km from east Java to north of Timor. The impacts from this activity are many kinds of tectonic activity such a Kendeng Thrust which pass Java and Bali Basin to Flores Thrust which can be earthquake activity. <br /> The used data for doing deformation analysis in Madura Strait Area is Continously GPS data from 2010 – 2016. The data can be processed using GAMIT 10.5 that result geocentric coordinates, geodetic coordinates, and standard deviation which reference to ITRF2008. Geocentric coordinates are transformed into topocentric coordinates to know the rate of shift vector speed. The speed has been obtained later on referred to Sundaland Block. After that, it calculates the value of the strain that occurs at the points of observation. Based on the observations that have been carried out, observation points encounter vector velocity shifts, which have been in referenced to Sundaland Block. The rate of vector velocity shift is about 0,169 ± 0,011 – 0,585 ± 0.008 cm / year moving toward the northeast. Strain calculation result shows Madura Strait Area has a shortening. It indicates that there is tectonic activity as an impact from Kendeng Thrust.<p align="justify"> text |
