Geographically, the area is located at UTM 49 S, 584000-588000 M and9230000-9235000 M. The area is 20 km2.Morphology of the research area commonly consists of wide to close contours,with the elevation of 90 to 299 m above sea level. Morphological features are observed <br /> <br /> with contour map, Shuttle Radar Topographic Mission (SRTM) image, and direct field observation. The research area can be divided to 5 geomorphological units, consist of Homoclinal Valley, Sinclinal Valley, Sinclinal Hills, Anticlinal Valley, and AnticlinalHills. Stratigraphy of the research area are divided into 5 unofficial lithological unitsfrom early to late: Quartz Sandstone Unit, Limestone 1 Unit, Marl Unit, Limestone 2 Unit, and Alluvial Deposit Unit.Geological Structures of the research area are Kumpulrejo Anticline, GegunungSincline, Kembangan Anticline, and Tiwiyan Thrust Fault.Geological history of the research area started at Middle Miocene with thedeposition of Quartz Sandstone Unit. When transgression occured in the Middle Miocene,Limestone 1 unit was deposite over Quartz Sandstone Unit. Transgression continueduntil Late Miocene while Marl Unit intercalation with Limestone 2 Unit was deposited in the research area. After that, at Plio-Plistoceneoccured compression regime, regional <br /> <br /> uplift, fold, and Tiwiyan Thrust Fault. From Plio-Plistocene to Recent, erosion and riverflow deposited Aluvial Deposit Unit and formed therecent form morphology.Diagenetic study of limestone in Bulu Formation was done by using petrographyanalysis with 10 hand specimens of Limestone 1 Unit to make a composite log (resume of diagenetic product) of Bulu Formation. Those petrography analytical showed that the main diagenetic proses which occured in Limestone of Bulu Formation are cementation,compaction, neomorfisme (replacement, recristalization), dissolution, and micritizationmicrobial. The diagenetic environtment for Limestone of Bulu Formation are MarinePhreatic, Mixing zone, Burial Environment, Meteoric Phreatic, andMeteoric Vadose.<p align="justify"> text |
