DETAILED STRUCTURAL DESIGN OF DAAN MOGOT APARTMENT

Daan Mogot apartment is located in Cengkareng, West Jakarta. There are 7 towers in total with 4 typical towers (A1, A2, B1, and B2). This final project focuses on performing structural design for tower A1. Tower A1 has 21-story, which mainly used as residential area and shared space. The structure is composed with reinforced concrete, and the dual system (combination of resisting moment frame and shearwall system) is used to resist the lateral force. <br /> <br /> Since the apartment is designed to withstand the earthquake loads from “D” seismic design category, more detailed design is required, as well as the dynamic analysis response of the structure. After performing the dynamic analysis of the structure (including mode-shape analysis, irregularity, interstory-drift, etc), it is concluded that Daan Mogot Apartment performs well in resisting the seismic loads. So if this requirement is fulfilled, the next step is to design the element of the structure, which is divided into 2, strength design, and serviceability analysis, to ensure the comfortably of the apartment usage. <br /> <br /> The detailed structural design is designed based on Indonesian Seismic Code, SNI 1726-2012 “Earthquake Resistant Design for Structural and Non-Structural Buildings” and the Indonesian Design Code, SNI 2847-2012, “Reinforced Concrete Design for Buildings”.
