It is characterized by the occurrence of water shortages downstream in the dry season, and overflow water during the rainy season. And if managed optimally, WKO can be used as a raw water resource in the development of drinking water supply system (SPAM) because until now WKO only limited use for irrigation and hydropower. Headwinds to the uncertainty of the future, it is necessary to study the pattern of exploitation Kedung Ombo reservoir optimal operational standards. The approach taken in the determination of discharge generation is the spatial correlation method (rainfall and discharge and a method that uses the principle of discrete Markov stochastic model 3 class). By using discharge data from the years 1991 to 2011 WKO inflow showed a combination of type PQQQ (continuous) having the highest correlation value, namely 0.87 while for the Markov method obtained very good results with a correlation coefficient of 0.958. For optimal management using simulation 6 models, showed a model with Markov seizure discharge class 3 and rule curve R10 is a model that provides value Correlation best or closest to the actual valueof St to its rule curve .Therefore, this model will be the optimal reservoir management model in order to see the WKO potential as a source of raw water for SPAM in the surrounding region.<p align="justify"> text
