Risk Analysis of Measles Bulk Production Facility at PT VXN

Infrastructure development in Indonesia is supported by APBN which has consistently increased since 2015. A management system is certainly required in developing the public infrastructure, as well as the support facilities on production process in life science industry. Vaccine produces an active immunity to a disease which its manufacturing process takes a very long time and complicated. As an authorized company, PT VXN is always innovate the vaccine production to updates every product which began to fall in demand. National and International vaccine demand data states that the demand for Measles vaccine is projected to continue to increase, even now, it is exceed the capacity of available products. Efforts to increase the production capacity are very important through the development in production facilities. <br /> <br /> <br /> Company analysis by internal and external environment need to be done to understand the business situation. The author uses PESTE and Porter's Five Forces analysis for external analysis. Resource analysis for internal analysis. Discovered the opportunities and threats in external and internal analysis related to revenue growth through the product diversification. In this study also found the strengths and weaknesses owned by PT VXN in running this industry. <br /> <br /> <br /> First of all, the author have to analyze the SWOT, other similar research, and FGD with PT VXN management team to identify risks. There are five categories of risk includes business/market, finance, operational/quality, strategic, and OHS. The probability weight of risk in this research obtained from interviews, while the impact weight used sensitivity and uncertainty analysis through Expert Judgment. There are ten risks that prioritize to be mitigated since the possibility and impact are resulted.
