Based on that role, seismic survey plan is an essential requirements in the construction process to avoid the risk of collapsing. Shallow seismic systems/sub-bottom profiler is one of seismic survey plan that needs to be done. This research was intended to elaborate the procedure of Shallow seismic systems/sub-bottom profiler in order to understand the composition of seabad in the location of piles. Survey plan started by determining survey lines based on standard of hydrographic survey by IHO S-44 2008. After that, sub-bottom profiler data would be processed and shows the morphology of seabed surface that would be used later to interpret based on the reflection pattern. interpretation process is important to differentiate the boundary of each type of sediment. Information about the sediments is an crucial matter in calculation and designing phase of piles regarding materials, dimension, and depth of the hole. text
